General / Introduction
Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP),
every person has the right to protection of their privacy and protection against misuse of their personal data. The operators of this
site take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the
legal data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
In cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect databases as well as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse
or falsification.
Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data
from access by third parties is not possible.
By using this website you agree to the collection, processing and use of data as described below. This website can generally be visited
without registration. Data such as accessed pages or names of accessed files, date and time are stored on the server for statistical
purposes without being directly linked to your person. Where personal data (for example name, address or e-mail addresses) are collected
on our pages, this is done, where possible, on a voluntary basis. These data will not be passed on to third parties without your
express consent.
Processing of personal data
Personal data are all information relating to an identified or identifiable person. A data subject is a person about whom personal data
are processed. Processing includes any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and procedures used, in particular storage,
disclosure, collection, deletion, retention, modification, destruction and use of personal data.
We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. If and insofar as the EU GDPR is applicable, we additionally
process personal data on the following legal bases in connection with Article 6(1) GDPR:
- lit. a) Processing of personal data with the consent of the data subject.
- lit. b) Processing of personal data for the performance of a contract with the data subject and to carry out related pre-contractual measures.
- lit. c) Processing of personal data to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject under applicable EU law or the law of a country where the GDPR is applicable in whole or in part.
- lit. d) Processing of personal data to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person.
- lit. f) Processing of personal data to protect the legitimate interests of ourselves or third parties, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms and interests of the data subject do not prevail. Legitimate interests include, in particular, our business interest, the provision of our website, information security, enforcement of our legal claims and compliance with Swiss law.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose(s). Where longer retention periods are required by law
or other obligations, we restrict processing accordingly.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details provided in the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide
there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on these data
without your consent.
Newsletter
If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address and information that allows us to verify that
you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter. No further data are collected. These data are used
exclusively for sending the requested information and are not passed on to third parties.
After you have consented to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter, you can revoke this
consent at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.
Objection to e-mail marketing
The use of contact details published within the scope of the imprint obligation for the sending of unsolicited advertising and information
materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the site expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited
sending of advertising information, e.g. by spam e-mails.
Copyright
Copyright and all other rights to the contents, images, photos or other files on the website are the exclusive property of the operator
of this website or the named rights holders. Reproduction of any files requires the prior written consent of the copyright holders.
Anyone who commits a copyright infringement without the consent of the respective copyright holders may be liable to prosecution and may
be subject to claims for damages.
Disclaimer
All information on our website has been carefully checked. We endeavour to ensure that the information we provide is current, correct and
complete. Nevertheless, errors cannot be completely ruled out, so we do not assume any liability for the completeness, accuracy and
timeliness of the information, including journalistic-editorial content. Liability claims for material or immaterial damage caused by the
use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect and incomplete information are generally excluded.
The publisher may change or delete texts at its own discretion and without prior notice and is not obliged to update the contents of this
website. Use of this website is at the visitor’s own risk. The publisher, its customers or partners are not liable for damages such as
direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages allegedly caused by visiting this website and therefore assume no liability for such
damages.
The publisher also accepts no responsibility or liability for the content and availability of third-party websites that can be reached via
external links from this website. The operators of linked pages are solely responsible for their content. The publisher therefore
expressly distances itself from all external content which may be relevant under criminal or liability law or which violates good morals.
Google Ads
This website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you arrived on our website via an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie for conversion
tracking is set on your computer by Google Ads. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These
cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie
has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each Google Ads customer
receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be tracked across Ads customers’ websites. The information obtained using the
conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers receive the
total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. They do not receive any
information that can be used to personally identify users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this purpose — for example by a browser
setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies, or by configuring your browser to block cookies from the domain
“googleleadservices.com”.
Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies if you do not want measurement data to be collected. If you delete all cookies in
your browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.
Google reCAPTCHA
This website uses the reCAPTCHA service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland — “Google”). The check
serves to distinguish whether the input is made by a human or by automated, machine processing. The query involves the transmission of the
IP address and possibly other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, your entry is transmitted to
Google and further processed there. However, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in
other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a
Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your
use of the service. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of reCAPTCHA will not be merged with other Google data.
Your data may also be transferred to the USA. For data transfers to the USA, there is an adequacy decision of the European Commission, the
“Privacy Shield”. Google participates in the “Privacy Shield” and has thereby committed to comply with the requirements. By activating the
reCAPTCHA challenge you consent to the processing of your data. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR by your consent. You may withdraw
your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out based on the consent up to the time of withdrawal.

Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is a solution by which we manage so-called website tags via an interface and thus integrate Google Analytics and other
Google marketing services into our online offering. The Tag Manager itself, which implements the tags, does not process any personal data
of users. For information on the processing of personal data of users, we refer to the information on the Google services used. Usage
policies: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.
Newsletter delivery — Mailchimp
Newsletter delivery is carried out via the delivery service provider “MailChimp”, a newsletter platform by the US provider Rocket Science

their site. Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a MailChimp is certified under the Privacy Shield framework and thereby provides guarantees for
compliance with European data protection standards. The use of the delivery service provider is based on our legitimate interests pursuant
to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and an order processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28(3) sentence 1 GDPR.
The delivery service provider may use recipient data in pseudonymised form (i.e. without assignment to a user) to optimise or improve its own
services, e.g. for technical optimisation of delivery and presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. The delivery service
provider does not use recipient data to contact recipients itself or pass them on to third parties.
